Dell 2408 - Left side of the screen a bit red.

I'm afraid I currently don't have a camera in my possession, so I can't take a picture of the red-ness, but what I'm essentially looking at is my brand new 2408 with a big red splodge on the left hand side.

It only seems to be effecting the lighter colours. I've set my desktop background to white and it's really obvious, but I can't see it when it's blue or red.

Interestingly, turning the brightness / contrast all the way up makes the whole screen pink.

    Any suggestions/ideas?

Dell supposedly have a good RMA process if you bought direct.

Otherwise return to your place of purchase.
