Well just got my cyborg mouse from city link today and thought id give you guys some info on it, its overlooked because of the g5 etc.
(note, a few pics so sorry if your on a slow speed)
First impressions, nice box which boasts about the motorised mouse slider which obviously shows its a gimmick but who can blame them, its good for people with small and large hands so lets just go with it. Gives the basic details of dpi etc and shows off the mouse in the plastic cover.

The mouse is easy to set up as most usb mice are, when i untied the cable i noticed it is kinked in a few places which means the cable will need firm pressure to flatten it(if yours happens to have the same issue), the cable is the real downside to this mouse so far with it being a big rubber cable much like my old microsoft opticle mouse. Once you have got it straight its ok because (on this one) the cable bends into the air a bit and so is off the table to stop it hindering movement.
The feet on the mouse are superb, it glides on my mouse mat as if its floating obviously this is to other peoples taste but for me its good and gives the feel of real quality. The scroll wheel has a nice feature of having the resistance changed by a slider underneath for 3 different settings, again its personal taste but i find the lowest one to be a bit to strong still as in games like unreal 3 i like to just slide it and hope to get a good gun, this is probably just me getting used to it or it just needs wearing it. It has a nice click on the wheel when you are scrolling towards yourself, makes it noticed that its registered, the actual scroll wheel button is nice and soft and a low sound which is nice as i dont like the real firm loud clicking on the scroll wheel.

Onto the motorised part, on default its a 7mm gap and the range is 0 to 15mm, i found it useful as i like multiple sized mice(well depends on the mood lol, tired then id prefer a big mouse etc) but since i plan on playing some fps games shortly i have set it to 1mm(hands are not huge). You can use the software provided- Picture
Or you can hold down the "mode" button (the led button next to left button) intil it flashes then use the d-pad to change size, good function as its easier than using the software as you dont need to keep clicking apply to try new sizes.
The buttons, well alot of reviews give saitek alot of grief by having a bad button programing system but so far ive had no problem and found it much easier than others, its a simple interface that keeps it short and simple, all you do is open it and click on a button then press a key to assign it.
Picture.
Now the buttons themselves are pretty good id say, the left and right click are firm but not over the top and the front and back keys(on the side) as easy to reach and firm, the thumb button(far bottom left) could be improved abit as it doesnt feel very responsive as you dont hear a click etc but then again it does register the movement so you should get used to it. The d-pad is another great feature of this mouse, this allows you to just use the mosue isntead of the keyboard if you wish, assign it to wasd or something, havent tried assigning keys to it yet as there are loads of buttons to think keys for, its responsive and is pretty easy to use with your thumb once you get used to it. The d-pad is able to be programed to individual keys i.e left =a etc.

DPI, at default its set at 2400 which for me was way to much since i was coming from a 400dpi mouse, i set it to 2000 so i can get used to it and id say 2000 is the sweet spot. The mouse does go up to 3200 but i didnt see much of a difference from 2000-3200 which could mean that im ignorant and blind or it really isnt true 3200 and its more of a marketing ploy than anything else. The mode button as far as i can tell can change the button commands between 3 set layouts so say on one game you want buttons set out different from another and so you use that to change it and tell your on the right one with the led changing from red green and yellow.

The scroll wheel is glow in the dark, cant tell how well it glows as its sunny etc.
Comfort, so far i found the mouse to be very comfortable as my thumb just sits in place on the side and has an added rest point for it, i cant comment on how comfortable it is after hours of use but i will add that later after playing with it.
Pros:
1. Alot of programable keys
2. easy to use software
3. Change size of mouse
4. Easy mode switching for keys
5.Change resistance of scroll wheel
6. Firm buttons
7. Nice look
8. Has a nice feel to the top with the special coating
Cons:
1. Software could be made a bit more colourful
2. Thumb button could be more firm
3. Thiner cable shoudl of been used
4. Changeable feet just incase the supplied ware
5.Changeable weights could be nice, apprently the american version has this.
Overall i believe this mouse is a great buy, its a shame its overlooked as it looks like a strange mouse but i find that makes it original as its different. I cant compare it in terms of performance etc as i havent had a g5 or anything but if its anything like i hear it is then id say this is very much on par. Saitek products are normally very reliable but im not sure after madcatz took them over, seems little has changed and so id bet this will last. If you like the look of it and need buttons for gaming, get this mouse as its well suited.
Sorry for quality of pictures and the amount. If there are any spelling mistakes and gramma please just ignore them or mention them in this thread .
edited again: here are some newer pics and are in focus .
