looking for a gaming mouse
ok guys, ive had a razer lachesis, 'bringer of silent FAIL' as they call it ... it wouldnt track properly and it seems its a common problem , now im looking at trying a different mouse...
ive heard of the roccat kone, and the ikari steelseries , as well as the obvious ones from microsoft and logitech , and i want to give razer a break for now, what else can you guys suggest?
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
Well the Logitech G9 is very nice, and from all the great things we've heard about Logitechs Support lately that looks like it could be a winner.
However there was a similar thread and someone suggest another gaming mouse, I cant remember what it was called, and he said it was better than the G9. Ill go search!
Edit : Here it is http://www.cybersnipa.com/eu/product...ming-mouse.php

Re: looking for a gaming mouse
a vote for the G9 here :D Still getting used to it, but I love it.
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
Logitech G5 (blue/black version) Best mouse I ever used, especially for games.
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
As above the Logitech G5 (blue/black version) gets my vote or the G9, both great little rodents!
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
Im using the Logitech G5 Blue Version atm (The 2007 Special Edition)
It's a great mouse =]
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
I'm going to go for the Cyber Snipa, as its something different and imo just as good or better then the g5. Hopefully I should be putting up a mini review in the next couple of days. :) Its also available on amazon for £29.99.
Anyhow if not, then the Logitech g5 is a very good mouse.
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
Logitech mice are good, only razer ever worth mentioning is the deathadder, the steelseries ikari is also good (i have it :D)

Deathadder Review:

Logitech G5 Review:

As you can see, all are great mice (i used fpslabs as a source as they seem to specialise in mice/headset reviews)
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
vote for the Deathadder here, great mouse
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
i find it strange that the g5 and the deathadder are about a year and a half old by now but theyre still getting vouched by people... while newer ones like the razer diamondback 3g and the microsoft sidewinder dont get alot of attention?
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
Anything by Logitech is gunna be a winner (fantastic customer support aswell), i am on my 2nd mx1000 (sent out as a free replacement for my 3.5yo first one) and it an excellent bit of kit!
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
I have an MX518. I really like it and some say it's the best mouse you can buy. :)

Second that, the MX518 not only looks good but is great for gaming.:)
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
G5, mx518, G7, G9. Only ones worth mentioning. Logitech actually do a "if its under $100, we'l jsut send u a new one without checking if its actually faulty"
Re: looking for a gaming mouse
another vote for the deathadder!
mine still going strong, though it has developed a strange rattle although i'm pretty sure thats to do with me battering it off a wall. :(
