With those speeds, I'd RAID5 a HTPC build I'm looking at putting together soon but the problem is that the case I'm looking at only has 2 HDD bays, the external 5 1/4 bays will all be used up so that's a no-go at the moment.

They are single platter 320gb F1s
Something not right with the RAID 5 results as three 320GB in that RAID should be 640GB.
When testing RAID 5 write speed is more important.
Using onboard intel matrix raid... Hardware raid would be much more impressive...
I only made the array 200gb big, but there are 3x320gb there...
