    Re: Need AA Battery charger

I bought a Uniross 15min charger from Amazon for around £15.

It takes longer than 15 mins to charge the batteries, maybe only the included ones (4) charge in 15 mins? Not bad IMO.

I didn't want to go for an 1 hour charger as I may not have that much time if a battery dies on me.

    Re: Need AA Battery charger

15 minute chargers are known to kill batteries sometimes... I went for a 1 hour one from 7dayshop. It does the job very well!

I've had about three cheap batteries (the ones from Deal Extreme) die on me. In addition another three of the Lidl (slightly better quality than the Deal Extreme ones) have died.

    Re: Need AA Battery charger

Can highly recommend the Energizer 15min charger which I got from MAplins for £20 including four NiMH batteries

Its the heat caused by rapid charging that usually kills the batteries. Energizer comes with fan to keep them cool during charging.

Some of the best chargers are the maha range of which I have one as well (you can never have too many batteries or chargers)

http://www.nevadaradio.co.uk/acatalog/c4011fw.html not cheap but worth every penny as evidenced by independent test
