Re: odd temps readings on new mobo
its the northbridge from a quick google, put ur hand on there and see if its really hot, may be a bios bug
Re: odd temps readings on new mobo
the northbridge is hot but i can just about keep my fingers on it , it does not burn me lol . i have the latest bios installed but if it is a bug should i contact gigabyte ? , but my system seems to run fine atm
Re: odd temps readings on new mobo
unless its constantly crashing it should be fine. i would run orthos for 24 hours just to be sure.

try a bios update as well

i have the latest bios and also got 2x 120mm fans on the side panel of my cm690 case , not made a difference either . but while it is working ok i think i will forget about it , why do they not add this temp reading to the gigabyte temp software ?
Re: odd temps readings on new mobo
because it would scare you, try everest for temp monitoring m8, that software may not be using the correct values
