Assuming that it is based on the intel 945G chipset (after a quick google) then it's a 775 I think :)
yeah its 775 :)
just watch your height restrictions if you're getting a new cooler!
Yep it's definitely Socket 775.
[EDIT]: Sorry, dupe post from above, was Googling for the specifications when Steve posted :)
haha thanks guys :) you think the stock cooler will be enough? i am used to having a pc with lots of fans do all CPU heatsinks have a fan??
The stock cooler should be fine as long as you aren't overclocking and have the typical fan placement layout of the case for good airflow. Not all CPU heatsinks come with a fan, ie. Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme / Scythe Ninja both don't come with fans. The stock cooler however should have a fan.
Scythe Ninja Rev B (been out well over a year) comes with a fan..as does the mini ninja which might be a nice cooler for you, but at £30 a bit expensive.
Stock cooling is genereally enough for dells, although I have had one HSF melt onto the CPU
It was in one of those dodgy SFF cases though.
I could swear my Scythe Ninja never came with a fan, although that was a while back, maybe I'm getting forgetful in my old age :)
It's not pictured with one on scan etc.. but Ive had 3 (:D) all came with a fan.
The new Ninja 2 has an slipstream fan with it which should be even better :)
ahhh right, then it should be ok then :) just worried that it might overheat, just waiting for that graphics card then i am fine :) did want one of those exhaust fans (the ones that go on the PCI slots but with it being a SFF no chance :'( thanks a lot guys!
