    Re: quick question

Custom PC did a watercooling round up and the Siberian Tiger was one of the worst in the tests, it was unable to match a Tuniq Tower at 3 times the cost.

Swiftech Compact was the best budget watercooling solution, maintaining temperatures low even on a very heavy overclock, and all for £120.

I have heard they are poor and all of the reviews i have seen for them (google it), concur they are not very good.

A good air cooler (Tuniq Tower, Scythe Mine, Scythe Ninja, Thermalright) will perform as well. Couple that with the fact you will have to add more fans for some airflow >>>>>> its not worth the cash.
Buy one of those and save the headache of fitting it and the average performance.

    Re: quick question

baicaly a gimic then, wied sinse the youtube review was very good...which usealy reliable.

anyhow i torn between these two for cpu cooling then.

    either:

A:Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme 120mm Heat Sink Fan for AMD/Intel CPU (bare sink no fan)

B:Scythe Ninja Plus Rev B Fanless HeatPipe Cooler S775/S478/S754/S939/940 c/w 120mm Quiet Fan

personaly i think B, but what your veiws, i dont realy want a super loud pc, but i dout both are loud...

    Re: quick question

Well you choose the fan for the TRUE, something like a scythe slipstream or nexus fan will be very good for noise and cooling.

Personally though I would buy the Ninja, because I have have 2 and done builds with others and it's always a great and quiet performer.

I would possibly have this though, http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=22841, bargain at that price

I prefer this at this price
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=383006

Each to his own and they all perform VERY well.

    Re: quick question

Im a thermalright fan myself. My ultima 90 is brilliant and it doesnt take up nearly as much space as a lot of other tower coolers!

    Re: quick question

Ninjas look good... I considered getting one, but skimped out on it and brought a slightly cheaper and less performing one for about £20 less. And I think that someone is going to give me the lecture about not skimping out about now.

But hey - it keeps my CPU cool at 2.85ghz (this is a AMD 5200 BE) and it's not as if I want to tax it too much really...

It all comes down to what you want it to do.
