I assume it's not for gaming? What kinda expansion slot do you need, PCI-E or AGP? Do you need a low profile card AND bracket or is it just the card itself that needs to be low profile, and you can fit a full sized bracket?

also its PCI-e, both need to be low profile although i have seen it on ebay, i cant seem to find a UK retailer for it.

    Re: half size gfx cards?

You could use some search engines to find a UK retailer. Otherwise you could look at maybe getting a low profile graphics card with a full sized bracket, such as this Sapphire 3450 and fitting it with low profile bracket which is very easy to do since the VGA port just clips off and the bracket just unscrews. You would need to find a low profile bracket though for a DVI port.

Scan sell a low profile bracket that you could have used, but it appears to be VGA only this and this. Maybe a local PC store could sort you out with a low profile bracket that you can fit, or maybe the Scan brackets can be fitted on DVI since it could be an old product - but I doubt that, worth asking them though.

hmm ideally i would like just a low profile gfx card where i dont need to modify it. i guess ebay seems like the only option :'(

    Re: half size gfx cards?

Aye, possibly Low profile cards are easy to get, but low profile cards with low profile brackets on them are seemingly a nightmare to get ahold of. eBay might be your best option, other than trawling product search engines like Froogle.
