just read over at anandtech about a new southbridge on am2+ motherboards enabling better overclocks of phenoms.
Migt be worth watching to see what is possible with overclocking the quad penoms and how well they compare to intel performance/pound.
I myself have no loyalties, currently running 3 intel systems and 1 amd, but have always favoured the underdog, so I hope this helps AMD catch up.
