    old pc?

has anyone got an old pc that i could eiether have or buy cheap?
    processer not sure what spec.
    512mb-1gb ram.
    one ethernet network card.
i want it to install untangle network gateway on it.
since untangle doesnt support wireless cards i need to plug in a wireless router in to one of the ethernet cards. ive already got one ethernet card. so the wireless router will need to come under the budget.
    something like router>untangle>wireless router
    all computers are using wireless
    thanks in advance

    Re: old pc?

Do what i do, go to your local skip/dump and go to the electricals bin, pull a few old PCs out and salvage what you need, you'll find allsorts, but its a little harder to find good memory or SATA hard drives. I've seen coolermaster PSUs and heatsinks w/ adjustable fan controls, shed loads of drives, graphics cards (old Sappire Radeon 9250 if i remember right in the last one Would playCOD2 a dream still )

I personally need to make one for my Girlfriends little sister, who has moved to ipswich and has no PC, unless someone down there would fancy whipping one up there for her for free, give you a little project
