Well P5Q is the newer P45 so offers 8x crossfire, PCIe 2.0 and 1600MHz FSB support.. personally I don't see the point in any of that right now and the P5K overclocks better but.. up to him I guess

I got a P5Q PRO, and so far cant say a bad thing about it, i would go for this one

i'd get the p5q series but the 16 phase power version
I have the P5Q-deluxe and i can't really find any problems with it soo far.
