My new PC, complete finally (pictures)

Well, received my new monitor today, so my new rig is now 'officially' complete (for now ). Thought I'd post a few pics to show it off a little

There's a bit of cable tidying to be done still...

27" inch Dell, dang it's big!

Loving this computer, quite a step up from my Pentium M 17" laptop (bought 4 years ago!)

Thanks to everyone for their help and advice, it's been appreciated! Now, if I can just figure out how to set my fans properly

    The big monitor is a 2709W (27" ) The little monitor is a Dell 1704FPV (17")... it's a nice setup

what is the case like for temperatures and noise-wise?
I wouldn't say the case is silent, I can definitely hear a low hum telling me that it's on... I think if I swap out the stock fans for some Yate-loons and use a fan controller I'll get it a lot quieter Though once the HD4870's fan spins up, you can forget about silence!

Temperature wise, it seems very good, lot's of airflow (there's a great big 200mm fan on the side that sucks cool air into the case, this helps a lot). My temperatures are all out of whack though currently recording: CPU = 20C, CORE1 = 36C, CORE2 = 36, CORE3 = 30, CORE4 = 31... That's with no CPU fan spinning either (can't work out how to set it to 50% as a default...)

Amazing looking case. If the cooler on the 4870 is too loud it might be worth replacing it with a third party cooler (I'm considering buying a hd 4870 with an AC accelero s1 rev2 cooler and then a 120mm fan on that).

Peel that white sticker off the 4870 (same version as me ).. Looks much better without it

Other than that, tidy those cables!
