Does overclocking RAM shorten its lifespan??

I am just asking since I have to run my Geil Black Dragon ddr800 CL5(2X2gb) at 820mhz in my Shuttle SD37P2 to get my E4500 to 3ghz. I used to be able to have 2:1 ratio when I had 2gb but now it will only do a 2:3 ratio with 4gb.Strange!! I am wondering if I should reduce the overclock to get the RAM frequency down or will the RAM be fine with the small overclock.I am running stock voltages BTW.

same voltage and a small oc like that might take 0,5% off its lifespan, so nothing to worry about really

Pump the voltage and frequency a lot then yes... early death is likely....
I actually undervolt my 2.0V memory

the voltage you don't really need to worry about. Its the heat. the greater the heat the faster the silicon degrades. To prolong the life of your components keep them cool. Just get a ram cooler or a fan directed at the ram. no worries.
