Thread: motherboard cooling?

    motherboard cooling?

    Just wondering if there is anything that can help keep your motherboard cool, i dont want to replace the stock NB/SB heatsinks because i dont want my warranty void but do those coolers like corsair dominator ram coolers help? Currently my mobo is at 45C, is this high for idle?

    mount a 120mm fan aiming at the ram, that will drag the temps down

    I've got an 80mm fan aimed at the Northbridge heatsink, knocked around 10C off the temps of the chipset.

    i got a 60mm fan on the heatsink already. Cant mount another fan in my case tbh, there isnt any room as i need to cable tie everything lol its EVERYwhere so maybe once i rma this psu ill sort it all out.
