    memory, memory, memory

Have a Q6600 - will be switching to E8400 in future possibly.
    P5Q-E
    Antec 900
    Thermaltake 120 ultra

    So which one of these:

    Crosair 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800MHz), Unbuffered, CAS 4-4-4-12, DHX

    http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=23802

    60 pounds (delivered)

    or

    OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800Mhz/PC2-6400 REAPER Memory Unbuffered CL5 DUAL

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146051

    63 pounds delivered

only problem is what this review throws up:

    http://www.***********.net/reviews.p...6400_4gb_kit/1 (***= ***********)

How does lower latency ram, same clock speed get beaten by such a bog standard cheaper model in the conclusion?

any way - Which ram should I buy and overclock???

    Re: memory, memory, memory

4GB kits aren't that great for overclock I seem to remember. That said I would buy the corsair as the reaper stuff has those silly heatsinks which only serve to annoy and conflict with other things in your PC.

If you are going to get an E8400 (which seems a bit silly given your current chip) you might want PC8000/PC8500 RAM for overclocking past 4.0GHz.
