Hi,
I know there is the C2D OC guide/info above, but I was looking for a specific guide for the Q6600. I have the P5N-E Sli.
I can't remember whether this has an automatic OC function or not. If so, is it any good ?
I'm a complete e-N00B to OC'ing.

Easist way with an nvidia board is to unlink the FSB's. That way you can speed the CPU and memory up independently. Helps you find individual limits of your components but doesn't necessarily work as well as standard linked overclocked.
Clunks guide is pretty versitile and his examples of the E6600 (if they are still the same) apply almost exactly your Q6600![]()
Ah, ok. Thanks. I'll give it a try today.![]()
