Second faulty Yuraku 24" - replace or get a different one?

Have just come home and switched on my pc and monitor only to find that the Yuraku has a full horizontal line accross the screen about 1/3 up from bottom.

This is the second monitor with same problem with the first being replaced less than two weeks ago for having the same problem.

Worst of all is that it is from Aria who are compltely slow and incompetent.

Should I get a replacement again or go for a different monitor?

    Many thanks

I have been hearing alot about the same kinda problem as yours and others too with the Yuraku (& the OCUK branded version), some say that once you get a good one then its great but personally I would get a refund and get something else....just my opinion

Thanks for reply; glad to hear i'm not the only one having problems with these.

Any recommendations - would like a pva panel the same as the Yuraku but one that has good reliabilty but does'nt cost the earth. Probably better if Aria sell it also as can then swap.

For £420 you can get an awesome Dell PVA with USB ports, hundreds of connections and a 4 year no dead pixels guarantee.

    I reckon its worth it.

I guess this thread answers the question I asked you in the other 24" Yuraku thread

I'll still ask though: Have you tried a different cable, just to rule that out as the cause?

Why don't you just get a refund and buy from dell.co.uk ?

Re: Second faulty Yuraku 24" - replace or get a different one?

if you can't get a refund and don't want another yuraku then you could fork out a bit more for the hyundai w240 pva, they normally have some in the superspecials. i've got this monitor and really happy with it. although i have recommended the yuraku to loads of people on this forum and inn real life....

    hi piranha,
It may happen that some samples of Yuraku have been defected by accidentally. But, if you want to go for another one then I would suggest to take videoseven r16w11 widescreen monitor. As I had been using it. And, one more thing is that you can get it at very cheap price i.e. 94 GBP at Dclstore.co.uk
If you have another source to get it less that this site, then let me know. As I want to buy another one also.
