    Rizeon JHL90

    Hey guys,

has anyone got this model of rizeon yet?

I am need of an upgrade from my HP DV1108EA which is pretty old-skool tbh.

    My current specs are:

    Celeron M 1.30 GHz
    736 Ram
    XP PRO
    Intel 82855 GME Graphic Controller

I originally bought this for ~400 pounds off eBay.

and I'm lookin at this from Rizeon:

Screen: 15.4" Wide Screen WSXGA+ (1680x1050) Glare Type Display
    Operating System: None
Warranty: 1 Year Collect and Return Insurance Backed Service
    Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz 3MB L2 Cache 1066MHz FSB
    Memory: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 PC-6400 800MHz - 2x1GB
Hard Drive: 250GB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drive
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT 512MB
    Optical Drive: DVD Super-Multi(DVD-RAM/-R/-RW/+R/+RW)
Sound Card: High-Definition Audio with 3D Effect & Full Duplex
    Wireless Card: Intel® PRO/Wireless 4965AGN network card

Which will be ~580 pounds ex vat.

What sort of performance boost can I expect ?

I have a feeling it might be big right ?

    Thanks in advance...

Yeah a huge performance boost on every level.

Rizeon are ok as far as I know. I've spoken to them a couple of times, always ready to help.. even changed some of their specs when I recommended it .. might have been planning on doing it anyway though lol

Zepto are another company who use similar chassis and make similar laptops to Rizeon.

This offer has caught my eye

Bit more expensive ( and that price is without vista or any O/S for that matter) but a very nice package overall, with the 2.4GHz C2D and blu ray being it's notable add ons. Taken off you would be at the same price as the Rizeon.

£700 would get you a lot of Dell I'm sure. XPS M1530 or Studio 15
