    Not available yet, later on this year probably slightly earlier than most mainstream Nehalem CPU's so as to coincide with the ultra-expensive extreme editions which always come out first.

    I still very much doubt we'll be seeing the non-Extreme edition chips until Q1 2009 at the earliest.

    When the top end Nehalem cores arrive later this year the only Core 2 prices that're likely to drop are Extreme Editions. It won't be until the lower Nehalem models are released next year that we'll see Core 2 prices across the board take any real hit.
