    Like I said, it's an AGP mobo, so that can't be done. I'm not upgrading just for the sake of it, it does need doing.

    Maybe u missed my earlier post stating that I have ordered all the new parts now, which have since been dispatched today, should be upgrading the HTPC either 2moro or Wednesday now.

    A few months in the Electronics age can be a lifetime, like I said before, the only AGP alternative available was the 3800 series.

    Yeah, I did miss it I'm afraid - had quickly scanned the post.

    Good luck with the upgrade; software decoding can sometimes be better than relying on hardware anyway.
