The reason for this is to ensure the front fans in the Antec 300 arent obscured in any way

You can probably find something similar for a couple of quid somewhere, but once you take postage into accound, being able to pick one up in Maplin locally for £6 is a pretty good deal

The round bits acts as rollers. They go onto the HDD and the brackets are put into the 5.25" rails. The HDD slides in like a drawer in a cabinet.Looks good, and from scan is a bonus, but I'm being a retard here i know it, but, how does that help a 3.5" drive fit in a 5" bay, hows it fitted?

An alternative approach would be this. Obviously not ideal for a boot drive, but I've got a couple in my machine for swapping other drives around (which I do frequently). Perfect for backups too.
Do those ones not have a power/data backplane?
