Pimp My Case

I was wondering if anyone has any reccomendations on cheap upgrades to make a case stand out?

I'll probably be painting the inside barebones of the case black, and will be adding a window to the side, but what is the best things to add to help look good.

Any reccomendations on cabling / fans / neons / tips and tricks.

Could any change in the CPU cooler help without impacting its effectivness?

I wont be using any IDE cables, just SATA, so don't know what to do there.

I've seen a trick to make fan leads sprialled/springy but can you buy these in neon colours and stuff?

Also, does the Corsair HX520w look good or would a 500W Tagan TG500-BZ be worth the extra?

A SCAN shopping list would be great, Ideally, the best you can get all in for a cheapish budget if poss but could go over £30 for just the fancy bits.

I've still got parts for case modding I've not used yet. Got a UV/neon cold cathode tubes and laser (was going to project the Autobots symbol within the case )

Anyone got any other ideas? What do you guys like/respect the look of in a case?
