    Asus motherboard - Q-Fan 2

    Trying to implement Q-Fan 2 (fan control software) for the CPU fan. Does the fan have to be PWM?
    The manual does not actually state it does however the pin layout indicates it does have to be.

    I dont think that it does, I just think it has to be 3-pin.
