    media pc/workhorse

    Hi guys and girls, im looking at building a media PC/ Workhorse for the front room which i could hook up to the internet and TV. Im looking to do it for about £200 and ive already got 2gb of corsair DDR2. any chance i could have some pointers on the rest of it? im also looking at going intel.
    Thanks people! feel free to post some ideas of full rigs and any other cheap systems you ahve seen that i could use as a base.

    Well for media I wouldn't go intel.

    I'd go with,

    Abit 780G mobo ~£45 (more than enough grunt for blu ray, has HDMI and DVI)

    A brisbane core or 45w AMD X2 of your choice ~£50
    I'd probably get this one http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=24805

    320GB Western Digital AAKS ~£35 (single platter if you can)
    Antec NSK2480 + 380W Earthwatts ~£60
    Samsung DVD-RW ~£15 (can't fit a blu ray drive into that budget)
