    Mouse mat recommendations - MX1000

I've been researching for days now but i still can't decide on what to go for.

Has anyone with a MX1000 got any recommendations? I've done a search but the posts are really old and alot of the mouse mats that were recommended aren't around anymore, apart from icemat etc..

I bought an everglide titan gaming mat and the friction is awful.. so i'm back to using my old PC World mouse mat which has a glossy/plastic top which is perfect, so i'd like something simliar really.. only problem with it, is that it's too small.

    Cheers

I've been looking at the Razer Destructor mouse mat to go along with my new keyboard / mouse combo when I upgrade my PC later this year, it's designed for a gaming mouse and to be extremely precise, all reviews / comments i've read about it sound good only downside is the price, the Razer Mantis is a cheaper alternative thats also received alot of good reviews.

You're getting unacceptable friction on both sides of the Everglide Titan?
I have an Everglide 'Giganta' myself, and it has a smooth side, and a rougher side - depending on what mouse you're using?

Anyways... these two are well worth considering: SteelSeries 4D Pro Gaming Dual Surface Mouse Pad (dual-sided) - £15 / Razer Exactmat Oversized Dual-Sided Gaming Surface - £17

Razer Destructor is really smooth - better than the exactmat

Re: Mouse mat recommendations - MX1000

I use a QPAD EC-R with my mx1000. It works very well and I'm happy with it. I like it because it's very thin. It's always very hard when choosing mats because personal preference is so crucial. One of the only reasons I ever went into PCW was to try the mice and mats.
