    Corsair ram....

Well im planning on buying a 4gb set and im just wondering if the DHX type is worth £9 more than the standard XMS2, the DHX is cas 4 not 5. Would i notice any difference? i know now my 2gb set doesnt run to hot and its the standard XMS2.

    Thanks for any help .

Also, if anyone has recommendations for a 4gb set of ram similar to corsair stuff(pc6400) with 2 sticks then please say (must have decent warranty).

    Re: Corsair ram....

Pretty much all branded RAM comes with a lifetime warranty, it just depends where you have to send it if it fails after a year as to whether that warranty is worth anything.

Corsair used to be USA and is now europe, still a lot of postage cost. Chances are though if it isn't DOA and doesn't fail early then it probably won't fail unless heavily overclocked

I wouldn't bother with DHX, they RAM is almost double the height of typical RAM which can obstruct certain HSF's. Plus as you say, it doesn't really get all that hot anyway.

I personally like geil RAM, use it for most of my builds

    or with 4-4-4-12

As I said though, any branded RAM is fine
