    Mobile Athlon OPN

    AXMM2500FQQ4C and AXMH2500FQQ4C

    1. Would they work on my Board ( Abit NF7-S)
    2. Which is the better overclocker
    3. How high could they go?

If some could post some other good OC OPN form mobiles.

I don't think the AXMM exists, you sure that's the right code?

The other one (AXMH) is a 45W XP-M Barton and you should see an easy 2.4Ghz with it, anything past 2.5Ghz will need good cooling, but should be doable. You may be lucky and get more though.

Oh, and yes they'll work on your board.

    Cheers,

    MM

you'd be UNLUCKY not to get to 2.6Ghz with one of these on decent air cooling. AXMH is the one u want, from what I've heard AXMM has something different about it which means that it won't be compatible with desktop motherboards... don't ask what, it's late and I can't be arsed searching the web for the reasoning

I consider myself quite unlucky not to get above 2700Mhz prime stable... maybe I will after a bit of a burn in

You can tell from the stepping it's an XP-M 2500+ wk40 chip. That's the one I've just ordered, should be exactly the same stepping, AQZFA. I'd be more than happy with 2.7GHz but not sure if my memory will reach 225MHz though...
