    Backup

    Hi all,
    Having had my new PC up and running for about 2 months now, i'm beginning to think about backup. What's my best option for backing up? I had looked at buying a second identical hard drive and using Norton Ghost to mirror onto that. Good idea?

    Thanks,

    Merlin
    For joy, apparently, it was all Franny could do to hold the phone, even with both hands.

    You don't need an identical drive as you could create a compressed image file enabling use of a smaller backup drive, or even burn to CD/DVD.

    You can do that with ghost, but I use a program called Acronis TrueImage. It's great because you don't need to shutdown windows to make the image.

    The only trouble with imaging is you can't do incremental backups.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
