want a cheap 500watt PSU

guys i am planning to buy a palit radeon hd4850 sonic edition card but i need to also change my psu but i cant spend more than Rs1000 to Rs1500 for it since i need to put cash for the card can someone suggest a reliable 500watt psu for that range plz...thanking anyone who replies

That translates to between £70 and £100 so it will get you quite a decent PSU.
Corsair are highly spoken of, as are Tagan and Seasonic.
I'm sure someone more technically clued up will be able to suggest actual models for you.

have a look at FSP they are nice and cheap (and nice and cheerful at the same time)
but you are going to have to spend more than 1500 Rs to get something decent...

EDIT: for 46.94 GBP you can get a decent corsair VX450w which equates to 3,760.01 INR
or for 3,480.09 INR you can get a 430w seasonic S12II-430

(wattages doesn't necessarily count... it's whats inside that counts...)

Looking at prices for PSUs with your currency, doesn't look like you can even buy a budget PSU let along a 500w one. You really need to save the pennies (ahem I mean rupees) and get the Corsair 450w @ Rs3200. You might even get away with buying the Coolermaster one.

It's really a bad idea to cut short on a PSU...
Even if you are on a budget, get a good PSU, it's really not worth getting some cheap or non-branded PSU...
