    Motherboard with IDE

    hello,

Are there any modern 775 motherboards that support 2 IDE hard drives, and 2 IDE optical drives (two IDE ports)? I'm looking at building a new budget-ish 775 system, but don't want to throw away my old non-SATA hard drives.

    Re: Motherboard with IDE

Best bet is Nvidia's 650i I think, like this one

    Big compromise though.

If you can life with just one and get a newer board you are far better off with compatability and stability when overclocking.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
