Re: £200 Computer: Any help?
You factored in the price of an OS or are you going to run Linux?
Re: £200 Computer: Any help?
What is the system going to b used for? I take it you are going for onboard graphics so I guess gaming is not on the cards? If gaming is going to be something that may happen then either a discrete graphics card or a look at an AMD 780G system (the best integrated graphics available atm) may be more appropriate. If it is just going to be for surfing the net email etc then have you considered the Intel Atom mini-itx boards, not going to win and performance competitions but for web browsing etc plenty good enough and you can get motherboard and processor for less than £60
Re: £200 Computer: Any help?
If you are not overclocking an AMD based system will be better value for money as you can get a faster processor for the same money as the E2180. Also if it is for general use something like Nvidia 6100 integrated graphics is more than enough for most things. The 780G motherboards do cost more but are better for media purposes.
