    time for a new keyboard?

    my grandad phoned me yesterday to say that his keyboard wasnt working. he says that when you press "A" it types "Q" and when you press "Z" it types "E"
    i have no idea why it would be doing this, so said id try and find out 4 him. anyone know why its doing this? by the way thats all the info i have about it, sorry if its a bit vague

    Keyboard layout is set to European or something different. Change the keyboard layout to UK and it should work fine
    Its in control panel, regional and language settings

    Did someone reorder the keys. haha

    I remember I used to do it all the time with high school keyboards. The number of people that just look at the keys to type and not realize that the keys are in the wrong order then look at the screen to see what they have typed and been like wtf. lol

    no it isnt set to european layout or something and its been workin fine for about 3 years.
    i doubt anyone has changed the keys as he is the only person that uses the comp.
    any other suggestions?
