    Need PSU Advice

Hello there Hexus Community, I've got a little PSU problem and a friend of mine told me to ask about it here.
Basically im getting a new computer soon, quite an amazing one imo, but currently its only got a 650w PSU which i don't know if it will be enough to power it all. And if it isn't i don't know what i should actually have.

    New System Specs:
    1TB Hard Drive
    250GB Hard Drive
    DVD/CD/BLU-RAY/Everything Drive
    Antec Nine Hundred Case
    Corsair 4GB, 2GBX2GB Ram
    Scythe Kaze Master Fan Controller
    Gigabyte S775 Intel P35 Mobo
    4870x2 2GB ATI Graphics Card
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz
    Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi

So which PSU would be best for a system like this?
If you need anymore info then ask.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forums

I'd advise getting the 620w Corsair HX620 - or the slightly less expensive 650w Corsair TX650 for that rig
Either will provide you with some overhead/future-proofing

Why would you advise that? What would be the reasoning? (and please not the 5 year warranty)
They aren't as good as the Enermax MODU82+. Especially seeing as how the price is very similar.

What brand and model is this 650W of yours? Chances are unless it's from a dodgy manufacturer, it's more than enough.

If a new PSU is required, it'd be another vote for the MODU82+'s.

    Re: Need PSU Advice

The TX I'm guessing? Power consumption with that system is unlikely to come terribly close to the Corsair PSU's max rating of 650W. They're fine PSU's and you should be fine with what you have already.
