So, making the exact same build today;

take the carriage off the second one. It near enough evens out with the lower HDD and RAM prices.

The cases do seem to be going down again though, check the CM-690 on ebuyer

the motherboards are the biggest kick in the teeth, there's barely anything good under £100. Ebuyer have the Asus PRO for £96 though.

Unfortunately the motherboard and cpu increases have well over ridden the other decreases
and I'd expect some of the other bits to go up/out of stock as they are old stock not hit by the £vs$ changes yet and/or may well be EOL and dissapear like the Scythe Mine did

ahaha, sods law, and I have the exact same mindset!
I bought the 1tb samsung hdd and 4gb xms2 cas 5 combo for £101.19 earlier in the week. The other day it was back up to £103 so...

Next year, Im sure it will be down to <£100 but meh, it happens with all tech.
