Dell vostro 1510 fan issues.

was playing around with my laptop to change fan speeds, and downloaded a program called i8kfangui which is a great fan control program for inspirons's (but not vostro's)

Anyway, in the program theres an option to set the fan speed on low or high only but no temperature control.
Now i've uninstalled the program, but the laptop is stuck on either a low or high fan speed depending on what was set on the program before it was uninstalled.

I used orthos to work the cpu to a temp of 80!! but the fan stays on either low or high as set with the program (even after uninstallation)

My question is how do i get it back onto the dell default proflie on fan speed, where if it was hot, the fan speed would increase, and the opposite on low temperatures? (i found nothing in the bios)
