My pc don't like the hot weather

The CPU running at 68 degrees idle, (7 degrees more than normal ) at 70 it turns off which it did when I got back from town earlier. Any tips on keeping the temp down? I've taken the side of the case off and all my windows are open, seems to be doing nothing.

    Desk fan tbh

Also what CPU cooler are you using?

My CPU temp is only 42C. Shame that my motherboard has dodgy capaciters (they hiss when hot) and it restarts itself because of that . Or at least I think it's the capaciters.

I've had problems with my other PC I've put this down to the PSU over heating. The voltage rails where all over the place.
That machine is 2800+ barton and runs happily at 42 degrees 247 on a Zalman flower, if it needs a hover out it might run up to 48.
Sounds like you could do with reviewing your cooling and CPU voltages.

Actually, I tell a lie. My fanbus is playing up. Keeps turning the cathodes from always on to sound-activated momentarily. Hasn't done it till today. And when it was hot a couple months ago. Stupid thing

I thought mine was high! Well its been about 3C higher than normal.

All i've done is put the side panel alightly open, as in touching at top and about 2cm gap at the bottom.

CPU idle is 31 and radeon 9800Pro is 56 idle. In the cooler weather with side panel on the gpu was 59 idle!

Our server went out a few weeks ago.
    - Looked at the temp logs, and its not surprising, the CPU hit 74, at which time the HDD was at about 45!
    - Its in the attic, and the cool-air duct had fell off, so it was sucking in the hot! (which today got to 38!)

xp2500 (1.83g) oc to 2.2g registering a rise of 7-8°C to 46°C at idle today. I'm using an old old coolermaster HS plus a 120mm ducted fan over chipset and cpu. So I would say you need better cooling. 61°C cooling idle at normal air temps is too high imho.

Edit: Idle is 51°C today getting a bit high.

I agree, the normal fan just isn't good enough but it should be

idle temps up about 5C here. From 30C to 35C

havent measured load temps, in fact ive not taken any hot weather precautions and ive been playing BF2 demo and EVE online alot.

Also looking at my Xp90 im shocked how i havent had any restarts, the damn HS is filled with dust.

EDIT: thats with all fans 7v'ed aswell.
