If i had the money, I'd get two and RAID 0 them together. :D Though its overkill as far as space goes, at least for about the next 5 years. 3TBs is six times the storage I have right now, and I currently still have 150 GBs free. :) I love my Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250 GB drives (I have 2 in RAID 0 if you haven't already guessed); I'll definitely be buying Seagate drives again next time. :D

I may upgrade my two 750GB drives in my NAS.....
I'll stick with my F1's, much cooler & drives that run hot 'tend' to have shorter lifespans.
I would wait for WD to put out equivalent product, hopefully in the RE2-GP range.
Seagate nowadays is too hot for my liking.
And, 7200RPM is rarely a necessary IMO except using as OS drive.
