    unless you have very large differences in temp (phase change/air for example) you wont get anything. The only advantage from a performance perspective is that you wont fry your chip when you vmod them...
    Thats ofcourse assuming your comparing your chips real limit, with its new limit. If you had it o/c too much before and it was slightly overheated, making it unstable but you thought it was stable, then extra cooling will give you that much...

    ok i lied. 10c will give you about 10-20mhz. I wouldnt say thats worth noting...

    I recently upgraded my system with the latest version of the Corsair Hydrocool. The new block is lapped and dropped my temps by more than 10 degrees underload compared to my old Alpha HS at 3.5GHz. Water cooling is more efficient because you use cooler air outside of your case to cool the water in a more efficient manner than a heatisnk inside of a case with less efficient airflow. Noise is about the same. Much lower temps and I was able to go up another 200 MHz without crashing - I still only run at 250FSB though, but it is a lot cooler.
