    Exclamation Backup wont work!!!

Hey everyone... First off, I made a back-up of all my settings and what not for my operating system. Then I reformatted. When I got windows reinstalled onto my system, I went to back-up wizard and went to advanced settings, then went to restore an old back-up, and I know exactly where I put my back-up's in. So here's the problem... As soon as I find the file and i'm about to double click it so all my backups will be onto my new os, it doesnt show the BACKUP files. I find the folder but when I double click it, it just takes me into a empty file. What is wrong? Am I doing this re-backup thing a wrong way? My operating system is WinXP Pro.

    Thanks a lot guys!

Sounds like XP didn't back-up your setting properly, how big is the back-up file?
