    Bios Battery?

My time and date keeps resetting everytime i turn on my laptop on. According to HP chat its the battery that needs replacing. But im not sure where to get one from? Any ideas?

Are they all generic, or are there certain ones for certain models

    Thanks all

It will most likely be a CR2032 battery but check first, you can get them for less than £1 at a number of places.

    Re: Bios Battery?

if its a laptop it wont be the usual 232 you can pop out with a pen, its usually got a flylead on it, so its up to you if you want to try and solder the wires onto a new one or buy a replacement.

hp being the anals they are tend to use specials that cost between 15 and 50 quid, whats the model number of the lappy ?
