Will go take a look at the advent it might be a tad heavy, was looking for the kg mark.

I know it's not what you're asking for.... However

I have a vodafone mobile broadband dongle thing that works fine with the EEEpc - there's linux drivers available for it. Not quite as neat as integrated, but it's damn small.
