Enough power?

hello,

I'm using a Tagan 380W PSU that I've had for 3 years (with moderate use).

I'll be using the following system:

Asus budget motherboard
2 sticks of 1GB DDR2 RAM
HIS 4670 graphics card
E6600 CPU
2 SATA drives
2 IDE optical drives
PCI soundcard
4 average speed case fans

Will a 380W PSU be enough to power this?

It'd be more than enough. I'd say it'd be using 200w or less.

Beware of old Tagans. My 4-year-old Tagan 480w died a month ago (inside the caps were bulging, one of the cap's legs was missing completely), and another person on this forum had a similar-aged Tagan die.

My Tagan was in use 24/7, though. So, check the voltages with either a multimeter or Speedfan. Within 5% and it'll be fine for a while.
