    The external hard drive adapter offers an interface for both IDE and SATA drives in sizes 2.5", 3.5", and 5.25"

    I've got one. It does support IDE laptop drives (one of the reasons I got one).

    Me three!

    great bit of kit especially if you have spare hard discs laying around for storage!

    does all drive formats! not installed the included software but i am assuming this is for the one button backup.

    Got one of them myself, very good piece of kit there and us the above have stated yes it does support 2.5" HDDs
