P182 and Arctic Cooling 120mm fans

Hi, Just wanted to get some advice before I tried something out.

I have an arctic cooling 120mm, open case fan. (the ones that have the fan suspended in a wire frame)

I wanted to place this in the back of the P182 where one of the antec tricools was. My questions are twofold.

    1. Will the Arctic Cooling fit?

    2. Are the fan controllers on the Antec at the back conected to each other and will I really have to change both of the fans in the top section?

    Thanks

Why don't you open your case and have a look? The answer is about 3ft away from you.

Since the AC 120mm fans can only mount in one direction you are typically ok to fix them for exhausting, but not for sucking air in. Check the flow of air (can be worked out with a bit of logic if you just look at it).

erm, I know which way the air will be flowing through the fan. I wanted to know if the Two fan controllers were connected at, as to be able to take them out I would have to remove my mother board from the case and then disconnect all the routed wires and possibly move them etc so thought it might be nice to know if it was actually possible do it before I took apart my entire PC

Re: P182 and Arctic Cooling 120mm fans

I have an Antec P182. The fans run off the PSU since it's Antec.

See here Gives you a decent view inside and here givesa good view around the back.

It would appear they're both mounted into the same plastic moulding.

    10 second search dude...
