    Western Digital WD3200AAKS Drives

has anyone got one of these http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=561030 from scan and can they confirm they are the new single platter units?

just want to get one today and be prepared to drive there to get it - it's not that far.

Well if you are going there you can check the model number yourself. If it is not single platter, get one of these... they are definitely single platter, and are just as fast
