    That is true, well at least with my Samsung Yepp e-32. It has 32mb onboard, and 32mb smart media.

    Sadly the software only supports win98, so i havent been able to change the music for ages

    Im not sure if all support any file type, but i assume that they do...The Rio ones are good, as well as sony memory sticks.

    have you looked at USB pen drives?

    My mate just got a Philips Key 003 which is an mp3 player with 64MB memory. It is a USB mass storage device so you just plug it in and copy the mp3's (or other files if you want to use it as a memory stick) to it.

    A couple of things to note though - you need to use the formatting program that comes with it as it uses FAT12 rather than FAT16 (as far as I can tell - the manual warns only NOT to use windows format tool rather than explain why.)

    Furthermore, when my mate brought his round to set up it was broken! I had to update the firmware on it before it would even charge.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    You probably want to look at the Creative Nuvo. Plug it into a USB port, it's automatically recognised as a HD under XP and then you whack on your files/mp3s as you see fit. Simple.

    I can only find the 128MB version though.
