Mouse keeps jumping....

Anyone know a possible solution for this? recently my saitek cyborg along with another mouse keep jumping randomly, ive tried it on the desk, original all black cheapy mouse mat and some other ones(ones got them sparkle things) strangely enough my microsoft intelligent mouse(i think) is ok. Its random and very annoying, just bought a brand new mouse mat that is great but the issue is still apparent.
edit: ive noticed that my cyborg's right mouse button isnt working correctly but it clicks fine, have to do a realy firm push on it though for windows to notice. Goin to cvheck on another pc.

Any help is appreciated.

make sure these is not little bits of fluff or dust on the laser.

There was a thread about something similar to this about 6 months ago. From memory it turned out to be a heat issue, when the sun shone into the room something expanded and made the mouse go weird! But i'd agree that fluff / hair is the first suspect.

Same results from other pc >.<, i made sure there isnt anything on the laser(as far as i can see). Right mouse button isnt work, could it somehow be software? cos i can hear the normal click very easily. Im going to reboot/reinstall drivers in hope.

basically...

have you got a joystick/joypad plugged in, or the software for one, or even the wireless receiver for one.?. if so, remove it, then see if mouse continues behaving erratically..

Nope, only usb thign installed now is my microsoft keyboard and i doubt its that. Still no change after getting new drivers, will contact saitek as im not taking it to scan and find it works and pay &#163;40 for that.
