Keyboard w/ black, soft/quiet keys, media buttons...

I'm looking to replace my currect Microsoft Reclusa gaming keyboard.

I don't really like using it. It is good looking and well made but the keys are too hard and space out far apart. It's not ideal for a fast typer like myself.

I'm looking for something black again, can be wireless, would like it to light up if possible but not essential, it should have nice soft / quiet keys (rubber keys?) and include some media buttons and a volume knob or "up" and "down" buttons for volume.

What can you guys come up with I wonder? Budget £30-40?

One word of advice, wireless keyboards and mice can interfere with wireless networks. I know from experience...

Also, I personally rate MS hardware highly. Take the intellimouse explorer 3.0. Amazing mouse. I've never got on hugely with any logitech gear, but many others will disagree with that...

yeah, i would agree not to use wireless.....

so if you do chose to use wired, maybe a logitech G15 keyboard, cos they're nice.

got some customizable buttons and other controls, with a little screen on.

The Saitek eclipse II is quite nice. The keys are pretty quiet as keyboards go, has blue/red/purple back lights, it's black with silver bits and is generally quite a nice keyboard

Not sure what to suggest for superior quiet keys though..

+1 for the Wave - I've got two (home and office) and aside from having to replace one after three months due to a problem with the '/@ key (' worked, but @ didn't?!), I'm really happy gaming with them and typing 5+ hours a day doesn't make me feel like someone's been shoving rusty nails into my carpal tunnel.

Cheers, hopefully it is good, got one coming from Amazon. I wanted a wireless one, so I get a mouse included which I don't really need, hopefully I can sell that on..
