htpc what to buy

hi all looking to build a htpc but just dont no what to get. any advice or pointers on parts and software much appreciated. was thinking about getting a skystar hd card but thats all so far looking for
case
cpu
memory
and anything else i will need
budget will be 350-450ish

It's pretty much silent (HSF can run passive), and perfectly HD capable as well as light gaming with the IGP.

I have that exact setup except for the hdd and case, cpu is very cool and it hd with ease... however the ati driver for that chipset can cause some issues such as not waking up etc... and also i couldn't get vista to play nicely with it as all my dvds were out of sync, but under xp i got it all running fine
